Engine Bay's

* After hearing the tones for us. Brittany looks at me with the ( Really ) Look on her face. *

' Yea then there are days like this where you feel like a Pinball. '

* We both walk out to the bay I get in the passenger seat and put my seatbelt on while brittany starts us up. I turn the lights on and as she drives out I wave to the rest of the station who luckily gets to stay inside. *

' I dont like them right now haha. '

" Medic-17 responding. "

* As Brittany backs us in I call us back in station. *

" Fire.....Medic-17 is back in Station. "

' What do u wanna bet we are gonna go there again. '

* I get out and head into the Dorm room to get some sleep. *

* Sigh "

' Here we go again. '

* Brittany and I walk out to the Ambulance and I get into the passenger seat. I close my door and wait as Brit starts us up. *

" Medic-17 responding. "

* After hearing our call I start laughing. *

' You cant be serious?....This is a Joke. '

* I start walking out to the Truck. I climb up to my perch on the rear of the truck and put my headset on. *

' Im ready back here John lets roll. '

* We park the squad out back and we walk into the bays and find the storage room and Mark and I grab some 4x4s, and trauma dressings.*
' I am going to go see if the engine guys are around here.'

* Jose pulls us around back of Station 17 and we park by the Fuel cells. I take my headset off and climb out. Jaythen and Jose both climb out and we all walk inside the station *

* Brittany pulls the Ambulance int ot he bays and backs us in behind Engine-17. *

" Fire.....Medic-17 is back in station. "

* I get out and walk into the living room for sunday brunch. *

* I start oiling the compartment hinges and making sure they all work correctly. I open my door and clean and disinfect all the headsets fo rus. Brittany comes up to me .*

Britt: Hey Boy

* I look back. *

Me: Hey yourself girl. what are u doing?

* I walk out and step into my turnout pants as Brian comes out and climbs aboard the engine. I step up to my seat and put my headset on. *

' Ahh what a nice cool evening, The ladder crew are gonna have a bitch of a time up there lol. '

* I finish a Bite of my spaghetti and start jogging out to the rescue unit with Brittany close by. I climb into my seat and close my door. *

' Hey Brit we'll just hang close to the engine, there is no way my ass is gonna go dangling. haha. '

* She starts the unit up and we drive out of the back of the station, around the side and as we hit the street I turn the Siren on. *

" Medic-17 Responding Fire. "

' Ahh Come on, every time I start to fall asleep. '

* I walk out to the engine and climb aboard. I start her up and put my headset on. I turn the headlights on as John opens the main door in front of us. The truck crew is starting to get into their gear as I make sure nothing is obstructng me before driving out of the station. The ambulance pulls away from the house then I hit the street and turn the Q on. I wind it very high and start driving through the neighborhood about 50 yards away from the Ambulance. *

' So what the hell are we going to anyways. '

' Uh oh this is gonna be SO Hamza's drop. '

* I get up and walk out to the bay. I start getting my pants on then I climb aboard while putting my coat on. Once in my seat i put my headset on followed by my seatbelt. *

' Ready Cap. '

* Climbing up the truck to the Tiller spot I start laughing still at what has gone on during Dinner but sober quickly knowing now im going down on a line posibly. I put my headset on and slide my doors closed. *

' Im ready John lets roll. '

*I walk into the bay then I sit down in my seat. I turn on the truck and I pull out of the bay behind Engine 17.*

* i walk out to the bays, throw my bunkers on and put the rest of my gear in the cab, and as john starts the truck up and pulls out, i wind the q up and turn the siren onto yelp*

* Rich pulls us back into station*

" Fire....Engine-17 is back. "

* I climg out toss my coat on my seat and walk into my office without saying anything. *

* john backs the truck in and i climb out, set my bunkers on the ground, put my jacket on my seat, and then head up to my bunk and crash*

' That figures. '

* I start walking out to the bays and climb aboard. I look in the back and see my turnouts are there and waiting for me incase they are needed. Rich climbs aboard as does Brian and As rich starts us up I close my door. I punch the coords into the MDC and up comes where we need to go. I put my headset on as Richy pulls us out of the Station. *

" Engine-17 Responding. "

* As Brittany backs us into the station I start to think about Audrey again. *

" Tri-City Fire....Medic-17 is in station. "

' You know what Brit its something about battered women that just get to me, I mean yes its the mans fault as well but the women need to take some action too. They just cant be like that forever. '

* We both get out and head into the Station to go to sleep after a long day. *

* Rich backs us into the house in front of Medic-17. *

" Fire....Engine-17 is back in station. "

* I take my headset off and step out of the Engine. I close my door and start walking inside to relax. *

* john backs the truck in and i head into the break room to sit back, relax, and watch tv*

* I take a Cup of warm tea and head out to the engine bay to relax and watch the neighborhood for the evening. * let my hair down out of its ponytail and start to think further about Audrey and wonder if she is alive or dead after that call. I sip my tea slowly and think about everything that has gone on in and around this house. The neighborhood is still bad here. Not too many people walk around after dark here However, a Couple come walking past me, they are a Middle aged couple and the wave and say ( Good Evening ). Stunned i wave back and say the same. This puts a smile on my face that at least some people in this neighborhood have some good in them. *

*I back the cab up with Hamza in the back steering and after parking, I jump out and take my jacket off. I hang it up right on the gear rack and as shift change is kinda still in progress, I look at the days roster. Just then the driver comes up to me asks for the keys.*
'Wassup bro!'
Hey man. Done with probation yet?
'Yea man!'
Good good. Imma take these keys from ya.
'Oh haha yea. Alright be safe Tom.'

*I punch out and get in my crown Vic and go home.*

* i walk out to the bays and see our new truck sitting there*
' ahhh nice, looks great'
* i yell out to hamza*
' UHHHH HAMZA, I WOULDNT COME OUT HERE IF I WERE YOU'
* i laugh knowing he is gonna be mad he isnt gonna be riding the back anymore*

* i get up from my sleep and head down to the truck bays and into the kitchen area when i hear our tones drop*
' holy crap, i almost predicted that'
* i walk over to the radio room to see what BS call we are going on now when i see its a structure fire*
* i set off the station bell a couple more times and pick up the station mic*
" whole station goes"
* i jog out to the bays and throw my bunkers, nomex, and jacket on and then step up into the officers seat and pick up the mic*
" fire, truck 17s all set on the run"
