Living Room

* i walk in from the bays with hamza and roy and see john sleeping, and see we are the only ones left in the station, talking in a normal voice, not caring about john sleeping i say to hamza and roy*
' man, with all these storms..i thought for sure we'd be going somewhere..everyone else is staying pretty busy'

* I hear the tones drop for the station and I Laugh at what we are about to get ourselves into. I stand up and walk towards the Engine bays. For some reason NOBODY is in a rush here. *

' Lets move people, just like every other call ok. '

*The tones immediately wake me as I slowly remove my cap from my head. I listen to the call details and I put my hat on and stand up, stretch and mutter SOB to myself not wanting to see what's ahead but being 100% ready for it.*

*i get up from watching tv*
' are you effing kidding me? im not even mad about this call, im more pissed an engine and a ladder have to get sent on an ems job!'

* Brittany pulls us into the firehouse through the front and we park in the position we usually do allowing Engine 17 to back into their position. *

" Fire.....Medic-17 is back in station. "

* I put the mic back and we both step out and head into the station. *

* I walk in and put my things down next to the sofa. I see some of the Crew watching tv. *

' Good morning everybondy. I would like to take a moment to address you all. Im Jason Bomarito. Im sure you are all aware im here to fill in for Cpt. Floan while he takes care of station 10. Im not here to take his place but to merely cover for a little while. I look forward to working with all of you. '

* i walk into the living room and see the new captain*
' hey cap, tim matthews, captain of the ladder, nice to meet you, you got a great crew'

* I walk up and Shake the Captains Hand. *

' Nice to meet you sir, Im fernando the Newest paramedic on the Engine. '

* i walk out to the bays just after 1400*
* i pick up the station mic*
" truck 17 crew, training in 20 minutes, meet out on the pad:
* i take my gear and move it to the side and pull the truck out onto the pad and leave it running and set my gear outside of my door*

'I got nothin' else to do.'
*I say as I begin to get up and walk out to the bay slowly. I push past the doors and and walk into the slightly diesel smelling bay looking left and right noticing I'm one of the few out here. Since we may be using any of the equipment in the truck, I begin to go over all of them one by one.*

* I start watching Fox News and relax as the day goes by VERY Slowly. *

* I Walk into the Living Room with my Duffle in hand. Still very nervous I put it down and a Paramedic named Jamie tells me to go put my stuff in a Locker then get dressed for the shift ahead. INervously comply and walk to the Dorm area to find a bed and locker. *

* I come hobbling in, still a little sore and see the new rookie. *

' hey bud, just put your stuff over there and grab a seat. Do you have your Turnouts, and helmet? '

* I find a Locker then walk to the Living room to Relax with the Crew. I see Hamza and the new Rookie sitting down talking and I decide to Join them. *

' Hey all, Anything I can do to help out?. '

* I hear the Tones go off and stand up. With my ankle still hurting I start heading to my crows nest. *

' Well rookie ur not gonna have to wait long. '

* I hobble out of the living room and to the Engine bay. *

* I start working on my laptop talking to Illyanna while relaxing in the Living room with the rest of my crew. *

' Guys this is the life, Nice quiet and nothing much going on. '

* I walk in to where John and Fernando are. *

' Hey guys lets go get dinner? The truck is going somewhere lets join them. yea?.'

' Yea lets get out of here. '

* We all start walking to the Engine bay to go get Supper. *

' Come on guys lets move out, we're going to the Meeting with Rocky County. '

* I walk out ot the engine bay and look in the back to see my turnouts before climbing into my plush, comfy seat. Rich gets in along with Brian and fernando and we all Head out. *

" Fire.....Engine-17 will be available on delay from Rocky County VFD. "

* I sit on the recliner and watch some of the Car auction thats on TV. Damon comes over to relax. *

' Hey Rook, take a load off for a while. you have earned it. '

* I sit down completly exhausted from working around the station. *

' Thanks Fernando this is hard work cleaning like htis. I cant wait till im not a probie anymore. '

* Hearing the Tones drop for us I spring from my seat. *

' Shit this is it. '

* I start heading to the Engine bays remembering how Capt. Stanley used to keep very calm under this kind of pressure and knowing that keeping calm always helped Jose and I get through a Fire. *

* I head into the Living room after having a refreshing shower. I walk towards the TV and grab a seat next to it to wach Frozen planet. *

* I see Hamza come in with a hurt kitten and raise an eyebrow. *

' So now we're not only importing victims but we are a vets office haha. Im kidding dont worry, should we take him to her taken care of?. '

* I come in looking at the Kitten and Hamza looking as pathetic as possible. *

' Oh all right load up lets go to the Vets and see about him. '

* I walk out towards Cpt. Floans office to let him know. *
