Engine Bays

This is where all personnel of station 31 will work on there units. Currently we have a phone and are printer on a counter next to the exit from quarters and the squad bay, there are also lockers located on the back walls of both bays, the ones near the squad are for the squad and the others near the engine are for the Engine.

Bay Line up:
Right Bay: Squad 31
Left Bay: Engine 31

" Squad 31 quarters."
* We pull into Quarters finding the house empty. So i head to my desk to do the PCR and get it into the computer. After I finish that I head into the station and find my favorite chair.*

" Good Morning station 31 the time is 0658 and your check tones will drop now. "

* Once I tone the house out for their radio check Lt Bender responds back almost immediatly. *

" Copy station 31 Radio check complete 0659 Have a safe day. "

* i head out to the squad as the tones drop and then hear the run over the intercom. I grab my turnouts and throw them on making sure i have all my gear. Then I get into the squad as the door continues opening. I see Jamie get in with her gear on and the run printout and I hit the lights as we leave the bay. I grab the radio and put us enroute before turning down the road.*

*After driving back I pull onto the apron and turn the squad to back it up.*
" Fire..... Squad 31 in quarters available."
* I get out set my gear down in the bay next to my door and head inside to go to bed.*

*Jake backs the truck in and I get out and do an inventory on the truck letting my head cool off before I head inside.

* I walk into the bays and grab my gear out of my locker before heading into the Living Room to thank everybody for being so kind. I walk out and head for my car. I get inside and start heading towards my new station in the ghetto. I think to myself sarcastically. *

' How did i Get this lucky. The Ghetto huh, just where i want to be now.'

* As Jamie leaves i wonder who they sent me to replace her on the squad as I look out to the bay I see a man standing there looking for the entrance. So I open the bay and see he already has his uniform and some gear on*
' Whats up you must be the new squad guy?'
' Yes I am, name is Mark Johnson.'
* I shake his hand.*
' Welcome to 31 I am Reagan Bender I am your Partner on the squad and lets get you in and setup because we are on duty at the moment.'
* I walk over to the extra storage and help him find gear and show him his locker that is next to my desk and he makes sure everything fits.*
' Alright quarters are inside and I am going to finish up my paperwork and I will join you in bit.'

" Squad 31 Respond with Engine 17 to Wonderworld for a 15Y/O Impalement victim. District 31 Cross of Valley View St N. "

* Hearing the tones and the Dispatcher I sigh.*
' Of course 17 needs us they always will. '
* I head to Squad as Mark runs out and grabs his gear I gear up and get the address and then hit the bay door, then I hop into the driver seat and turn the lights on. I pull away as mark gets in.*

* Mark and I head out the squad as the tones start dropping. I gear up and get into the passenger seat as Mark gets into to drive. I flip the MDT around to see what the call is and location and look at any exposure that I can note on the Map part of the software.*
' Alright Mark lets go.'
* He pulls out the bay and we turn down the street and I flip the lights and siren on.*

*I get out and hold traffic while Jake backs the truck in. I then walk into the bay and to my office to start getting stuff packed. I look around thinking how much it is going to suck not being here for a few weeks, but atleast I will have jake to keep me company. though i will miss Erin a ton too.

*I walk out into the Bays, and look around. I take a last look at my starting station here in the district. I think to myself the few good times that will be remembered on Engine Co. 31. I walk over the the Gear Racks, and grab my gear. I pack it up, and grab all my equipment. I take my portable radio and bring it to the work room, and put it on the charger. I walk into the Captain's Office, but my letter and badge on the desk.. and head out the door.*

* After are meeting at 17 I pull the squad back into quarters. I hop out and grab my portable.*
" Fire.... Squad 31 Quarters."
* Me and Mark sit down at my desk and write out the paperwork before heading inside.*

*I walk over to the squad and set my bunkers next to the truck. I see Bender hiding at his desk. I walk over to him.*
